“Nokki Cabrera is a Cuban American singer, song writer, model & actress who was born April 11th 2000, in Miami to immigrant parents that fled to America in 1994 during Fidel Castro’s reign. Through hard work and perseverance, they were able to give Nikki and her brother a life different from there’s while instilling the culture and values they were raised with in Cuba. Growing u pin a house with Spanish speaking parents the music of Cubans like Celia Cruz, Willie Colon, Gloria Estefan was the soundtrack to Nokki’s childhood, as the American government provided assistants to refugees from Cuba her parents were relocated to new Mexico where Nokki would attend grade school, learn English, and find her passion for singing and performance. By the time she was in high school her family moved back to Florida where she attended Spoto High School in Tampa. Still honing her musical skills as well as becoming a first chair flute player.
After graduating from High School, Nokki then decided to take aleap of faith with $125.00 dollars to her name she packed all of her belongings, didn’t tell her friends or family, filled her gas tank and started drove to new York. Withing the first week of being in New York she scored a music internship at Quad recordings studios on.
